How Does Hit The Switch Work?
Two ways, you can register and we’ll send you regular energy saving tips via email. Or, you can sign up to take the Hit The Switch Challenge. This is where you try and use less electricity in your home this quarter as opposed the same quarter last year. You are competing against yourself. You use your energy bills to compare.
When Will The Challenge Go Live?
We’re currently in the process of seeking sponsorship to get the program up and running. Our goal is to register 100,000 people to really make the challenge meaningful.
What’s the benefit to me?
There’s lots of benefits to you. Firstly you’ll be saving money on your electricity bills by practicing energy saving techniques. Also, you’ll also be part of a global grass roots movement which is helping to cut down on electricity emissions right around the world and that’s got to be a good thing.
